Transfer Pricing Specialist

Your New Role

CODAN is expanding its financial team with a new position and is currently looking for a Transfer Pricing Specialist to join us. We wish to start insourcing the transfer pricing operations from the current external partner and therefore we are seeking a Transfer Pricing Specialist with a hands-on mentality to drive the insourcing of the process and to shape our transfer pricing strategy. Your position entails interface to other CODAN companies in Europe and the United States and offers a variety of interesting tasks.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with transfer pricing guidelines, providing documentation, and supporting the continuous implementation of TP policies. You will have various interfaces with the other teams in the business, have numerous opportunities to define your role, and grow as a professional. This position is based locally in our new headquarters in Køge, Denmark. Therefore, an existing working permit for Denmark is mandatory.

Scope of Work

• Insource the transfer pricing process from our external partner
• Prepare and update global transfer pricing documentation, including master files, local files, and benchmark studies with external tax advisors
• Develop relationships with the organisation for implementing and maintaining the group transfer pricing policy
• Educate and train the business organisation to ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations
• Centrally perform and review transfer pricing computations and adjustments and manage all pricing procedures
• Perform functional analysis interviews and preparation of intercompany legal agreements
• Monitor OECD and local country developments for new compliance requirements

Prerequisites to succeed in the Job:

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in tax, accounting, or economics
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience from an international company, consultancy firm, or the tax authorities
• You are a skilled user of Microsoft Office within advanced experience in Excel
• You are fluent in spoken and written English. German is an advantage

You have good communication and stakeholder management skills. You like to work in an international environment having an influential role in shaping our company’s transfer pricing strategy. As a person, you are motivated, analytical, and love to set new processes and improve processes. You are interested in products and production processes and are also open to travel within Europe, USA and Mexico.
